Block Shop
Based in Los Angeles, Block Shop is a textile, art, and design studio founded in 2013 by sisters Hopie and Lily Stockman. The family-owned production workshops are based in India, Italy and the US. As a group of artists and craftspeople, the block shop team is devoted to celebrating the rich history of handmade textile production. They believe in small-scale production, fair wages for workers, and healthy working conditions. The company also invests five percent of its profits in their biannual Community Health Camps in Jaipur, India.
