Ethically made by 7 artisans working in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, Washington.  Baleen is owned by Billy, a graphic designer and jeweler, and Leah, who has a background in apparel design and styling.  They met working in retail and created Baleen to offer American made, quality jewelry that is both stylish and affordable. Their Ballard area shop of the same name shows off their combined aesthetic and is SO SO GOOD.
